I Thought "Couldn't Happen To Me"..

I have been using Paypal for over 4 years without problem.  I have heard the stories and thought, hey, not me...I know what I am doing.  Silly me.

I sell on e-bay to help pay for grad school - I am a mom of two little ones -every little bit helps.

Recently I sold an item on eBay.  The buyer decided she "didn't want it" after paying for it.  So I refunded her money. 

Case closed right?

No, this strange woman contacts her credit card company and refuses to pay her bill.  They contact PayPal and they immediately take the money out of my account.

- um, my account?

Then they go into this "investigation" of what?  I have proof I paid her back -clearly she was confused...no.

They find in "favor" of this woman and not only did they keep the original money- they just took out the same amount again - claiming "fees"  for this service.

WHAT?

Of course I have not heard form them...and will be contacting the Mountain View Police Dept. tomorrow. 

This is insane.
