Accused of having multiple accounts despite only ever having one

Some time ago I was informed that my PayPal account was “permanently limited”, and that I had no right to appeal.

I was told that due to holding “multiple accounts”, I was seen as being a “major risk” to PayPal and they took it upon themselves to limit my account without a care in the world as to what I had to say. I have sent several letters, made countless phone calls to be told every time that I have no right to appeal and there is nothing I can say/do to change the decision.

The reason for the limitation, holding multiple accounts is ridiculous – I have one account and up until recently I held a 100% rating on eBay which it was linked to (the negative feedback was from a misunderstanding with the buyer unrelated to this issue).

Due to PayPal’s monopoly over internet transactions, people are forced to use their services and without access to my account I can not purchase or sell anything on eBay & other websites any more.

I feel that I have been victimized here for quite frankly an unreasonable and stubborn management of my account.

this is how paypal tries to collect on abandoned accounts with a negative balance. Pin it on someone else and limit their account unless they pay the balance owed. Even though it’s not owed by you.
