Another PayPal Scam

Another PayPal Scam

By Phil

To date I have not had any problems with paypal and have no complaints about them, but thought I should alert you and other readers to this scam if you weren’t already aware of it. ¬†Below is the text of an email I received a couple of days ago. This is the second time I’ve received it,this time it came from ‘paypal support’,whilst before it was sent from ‘paypal security’.When I began using paypal I initially used a hotmail account as my primary email address but subsequently changed it to my aol account and no longer use my hotmail account for any paypal business.Note it mentions inactive customers, the first time I received it was three days after I’d successfully carried out a transaction!

Dear PayPal Customer

This e-mail is the notification of recent innovations taken by PayPal to detect inactive customers and non-functioning mailboxes.

The inactive customers are subject to restriction and removal in the next 3 months.
