Not covered by seller’s protection

I sold an item on eBay, the buyer paid via PayPal, collected the item in person and left positive feedback on my eBay account. A couple of weeks later I got an email from PayPal saying that the transaction might have to be reversed as the buyer’s account had been used by someone else and before they finish their investigation, the money would be on hold. Later that day I received an email from PayPal saying that there was no evidence that the buyer’s account was used by someone else so the money was returned to me and the case was closed. That was a week ago, but this morning I went into my PayPal’s account to find out that PayPal returned the money to the buyer without even notifying me!!!! When I called them they just said that they carried out another investigation and decided to reverse the transaction as I am not covered by seller’s protection as the item was collected in person. Is there anything I can do in this case?
