This website is a collection of horror stories, news reports and other information addressing problems with Paypal, Inc..

Dispute, chargeback, locked account..what horror!

I had a dispute with a buyer and he initiated a chargeback of $750. He won and got the money AND product.

Now my PayPal account is locked unless i pay them what they think i owe. i cant afford to do so. Give me my product and i’ll give you your money. How about that?

So my son goes to open an ebay account with his won paypal account so we can make some extra income. ebay then suspendeds my sons selling account because of my problem with paypal.

i tried numerous times to call, send emails and they wont work with me at all.

I made them a simple offer: reinstate my sons ebay selling account, and i will arrange payments to pay off the chargeback.

Nobody wants to hear it.

Oh well I have a merchant account for whatever i sell, and paypal aint’ getting their $750 from me unless they unlock my son’s ebay account.

Just the way paypal is. Dispute, refund, not getting the products back and then locking our out of your account. I don’t get why they don’t make the customer send the product back and then issue a refund. What they do is INSANE!!! They screw so many people over it amazes me that they are still in business. I’m glad that you have a real merchant account. You won’t have half the problems you have encountered with paypal

far too many things can go wrong when using paypal to sell items over the internet. I also learned this the hard and expensive way and found these paypal warning sites after the fact. Wish I would have been better informed but paypal leads you to believe it is going to be a walk in the park. It was more like being lost in a blizzard and chased by wolves while starving to death. I had to eat ramens noodles for a week because of paypal. Never again
