Double charged for item that was never received

Years past I have lost money ordering items never delivered and Paypal would not help me.
My current problem is that they have put through payments, now $600 on both my credit credit card and bank account…in other words double payments and on top of that I’m disputing the payments because I did not receive the service that was advertised. Paypal has been no help at all this far. Rude people on the phone and nothing but automated email responses. There is also another payment of $300 due that I’m trying to stop. Paypal told me they can’t stop payments. That I have to wait for it to go through and then they’ll refund the money which I don’t believe for a second. I had already contacted my credit card company not knowing that it was also paid through my bank. I am extremely upset, never deal with Paypal unless there is no alternative and this really tops my tolerance level. How can they make something so simple to frustrating and complicated?

    You have lost money with paypal in the past but keep using them. Why? Paypal is not going to change for as long as their quarterly profits keep increasing. Paypal will double charge you, sell your information, give your stuff away, hold your funds and the list goes on and on. There’s no safe way to use paypal other then to stay away from them.
