PayPal Buyer Scam

Writer Wishes To Remain Anonymous

After shipping (and confirmed receipt) of a $$$ item, PayPal reversed those funds, and refused to tell us why, ‘due to privacy issues’.  [Yea, right.]

As best we are able to tell, the person who made the purchase – and to whom the product was delivered – was in fact the owner of the PayPal account in question.

So, this appears to be a good scam for PayPal _BUYERS_.  Buy something, then complain that you never ordered it, it never arrived, whatever — it doesn’t appear to matter.  You’ll get your money back, and your seller will be screwed.

But PayPal will still get its cut, so what does it care?
