PayPal, Face The Light

By Vic

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for reading my e-mail. I tried to sell an item using E-bay and PayPal suddenly they promptly placed a link on my item that said CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED. WHAT?So what do people do? Of course they TRY to pay me with a credit card. Well I never agreed to accept credit cards! The fine print says I can upgrade my account to accept credit card and it costs another 5% per transaction and uses a graduated scale. So tell me this if I have to upgrade my account to accept then why is the CREDIT CARD ICON THERE ON MY ITEM before I ever accepted? Is that not false advertising to the poor buyer? This is a manipulative business practice that I plan to report to anyone who will listen. You can kindly respond to this e-mail but I am going to contact my local news station 7 on your side in Washington D.C.

Ebay/PayPal should behave properly or face the light of day.

Regards,

Vic
