Writer Wishes To Remain Anonymous
I have read many of the horror stories posted and I now have one of my own. However, mine seems to be a bit different than others. I purchased an item (jewelry) from whom I thought was a reputable seller. The seller shipped the item and when I received it, it was the wrong size, wrong type of gold, and completely scratched up. I emailed the seller multiple times and received no response. After waiting several days, I went ahead and filed a complaint with PayPal. The seller took about 3 days to respond and I was told by PayPal to ship the item back to the seller.
In between waiting for delivery, the seller sent me 2 emails stating how I should have never filed a complaint with paypal because they would have resolved it and were simly on vacation. The seller received the item and now PayPal has issued a refund to my account. However, the seller has started emailing me again stating that there was no jewelry in the package I sent and that it was empty! They told me they are filing a police report against me?! PayPal also now has the funds ‘frozen’ in my account.
