No PayPal Reinbursement

I used PayPal for a year with absolutely no problems.  Then one day, I woke up to $385 missing from my cheching.  The next day, another $435 and $460 went missing.  After COUNTLESS hours on the phone with PayPal, I was told to send an email disputing the charge and also to notify my bank.  After $60 in overdraft fees, $75 in stop-payment fees, and $20 to get a new debit card, my peace was restored.

Unfortunately, my bank told me my account was no longer safe, so I had to close the account, get a new one, and pay $28 for new checks.  After many, many emails to PayPal, and various other expenses I have incurred along the way from other issues with my bank directly related to this, I am about $350 down in my own money, and have yet to hear from PayPal.  I can’t even get anyone to tell me how to go about getting reimbursed.  I did, however, get my bank to refund the original charges to my account.
