PayPal's a Waste of Time
By Anthony
Well...came across some items for sale in a retail outlet with 75% off so I purchased them and then put them onto ebay. For each item I sold I gain 100% profit on them. Feeling rather proud with myself as I had now earnt enough money to put my car into the bodyshop for some body repairs and pay of my credit card I used to buy these items.
Anyway when I came to login to my PayPal account the next day. To my horror to find a large red screen saying your account has been limited. I rang them up and was lucky enough to get a UK customer service advisor. She explained to me that none of my buyer had placed a complaint against me, but it was PayPal because one minute my account was ?0.00 and the next minute it was ?800.00. They said that they suspected fraud. Which I thought well they might see it that way.
The time came to fax them everything they required. God Damn! I faxed them anything and everything about 4 times! I enlarged everything, refaxed making it smaller for them, what they wanted I did it! As I needed that money to pay the bodyshop people! A week has passed and im still not into my account, the bodyshop people have got my car into I can pay them. Numerous phone calls and (no offense) being put though to US Customer Services.
Brits and Americans have such a difference in languages the operator could not understand what I was trying to explain to him. So in the end I would hang up. Spoke to a lady from the UK Paypal and she now says I have sent in far to much information they really need and will get the account reviewed ASAP. The worse thing is the buyer havent even contacted me with a confirmation that they have received the goods, so that looks bad too.
