Ripped Off By PayPal

By Ken

I have been ripped off by PayPal on the last two transactions.  On the first occasion, PayPal incorrectly credited $80 to the buyer’s account after payment. I had shipped the item and the buyer refused to pay (the item was not in dispute and was not returned), the buyer merely took advantage of PayPal’s error.  On the second occasion I lost $300 when PayPal incorrectly endorsed the check and my bank refused to take it.  It has been 90 days and I have not been able to get PayPal to re-issue the check.  I am going to turn the matter over to Dunn & Bradstreet for collection and an unfavorable reporting on their D&B credit report.  I will no longer use eBay or PayPal.

what most people don’t know is that Paypal was hit with a MAJOR 25 million fine from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. If you have transacted with a Paypal credit product and got ripped on ebay or Paypal failed to help. You can now leverage the CFPB issue against them by filing a complaint with that organization. Strangly enough this is the first government agency that actually has the power to make PAypal PAY attention…no pun intended ..but if it humors you well all is good!!!
