VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT OR U HAVE TO GET OUR CREDIT CARD
I have had a pay pal account since 2008. I was recently notified, when I went to pay for a purchase, through e bay, that I had reached my sending limit, and I had to get verified. What a nightmare! I use a prepaid card. If I don’t have the money, I don’t buy. Never had any problems. Now that I reached the sending limit of $10,000, I can’t send no more, without getting verified. I don’t put my bank account information on line…so pay pal says, then I have to get one of the credit cards they offer, or Buy it later. I don’t want their credit card, and I don’t want my bank information online, so I can’t get verified. Seems like after you spend $10,000. that should be verification enough. Their website, states verify 2 out of the 3 options. Okay, they emailed me a code to verify credit card, I entered the code, then they text me a code on my phone, I entered the code, well that’s 2 right? WRONG! Went out and purchased a Green dot card, that transfers cash into the pay pal account.{ $4.95 at Walmart } So after transferring the money into the pay pal account it shows a credit $21.95. Now I can finally pay the e bay seller for the sweater I bought for @10.74..so I won’t have a case opened against me for not paying for a item, right? WRONG! Finally got customer service on the line,,,still can’t use because, you guessed it, I’m not verified. I told them, just pay this seller…and I’ll close the account. This is the dumbest shit I’ve ever had to deal with..The money is there, pay the seller. It will be 2 weeks before they send the balance to me in form of a check…This is the only problem I’ve ever encountered with pay pal…and the customer service reps. barely, speak English, but were friendly. Won’t be spending much on e bay anymore, and I’m a great customer..got all my little stars and everything…..Pay pal needs to do something about that verification crap! After you spend $10,000.00, had the account 5 years, they want to VERIFY, HEY ARE YOU REALLY YOU? DUH?
