Why Not Notify Me

Hi,

I’ve just found out I’m missing $860 from my checking account and PayPal account- and have been throughly frustrated and inconvenienced. Basically it appeared someone hacked my PP account with several unauthorized transactions, taking money out of my checking account, putting it into my PayPal account, and then withdrawing those funds to some random person…so, all in all, I’ve lost $102 from my PP account AND  $750 from my bank account..I closed the bank account today to prevent the other pending withdrawals to go through. Whatever it is, I’m so pissed off and I want my money back!!

There are a few “reversals” of those unauthorized payments that are pending in my account, but my account is in limited access for the time being- and they never sent me an email to tell me that my account was being frozen due to suspicious activity! WHy the hell wouldn’t they notify me if there was “suspicious activity” in my account?? Anyhow, I sent my claim to PP yesterday via certified mail with a return receipt, so if they don’t get back to me within 10 days with a favorable response, they are going to hear it from me. Just thought you’d like to know that Paypal has moved, and their new office address is:

    That is very sad to hear that, they didn’t have the consideration to contact you, letting you know that your account has suspicious activity going on! That is why I am so glad I have a real merchant account. Whenever there is something going on them not only call me, but email me as soon as possible. I think you should close your account and go with a company that is federally regulated. That deals with your bank and not a separate account.
